Mickey Harte has lost another key backroom member after Stephen O'Neill's decision to step down as the team's forwards coach.

The legendary attacker informed Harte over the weekend that he would not be involved in 2020.

Harte has another year to run on his existing agreement with Tyrone GAA and O'Neill has been assisting the veteran boss in that coaching capacity for the last two seasons.

Tyrone lost strength and conditioning coach Peter Donnelly to Ulster Rugby earlier in the year.

"Stephen had informed the senior manager Mickey Harte over the weekend of his decision to step down as the Tyrone senior teams forwards coach.

"Stephen had also cascaded the message to all of the players in the panel," a Tyrone statement read, confirming the news.
