O'Donoghue puts Rebels in control
Cork 1-14 Waterford 1-8
Cork advanced to the final for the first time since 2011 with a comfortable victory at Fraher Field.
The Rebels had five points to spare at half-time (1-6 to 0-4) after Michael Hurley passed inside for Sean O'Donoghue to drive low to the bottom corner.
Waterford reduced the arrears to three on the resumption, but seven unanswered points killed home enthusiasm, though Jack Mullaney did drill the ball to the roof of the net with a minute remaining for a consolation goal
