O Duibhir switch pays off for Eoin

SUBSTITUTES Conchur O Duibhir and Cian O Ceallachain were instrumental in Colaiste Eoin powering their way to a deserved victory in this semi-final at Pairc Tailteann.

O Ceallachain, who came on at the start of the second half, played a crucial role in attack, scoring two vital points.

O Duibhir's introduction was even more noteworthy as he struck for his side's vital second goal on 53 minutes. That propelled the Stillorgan school into a 2-8 to 0-12 lead, and O Ceallachain extended it almost immediately with a point.

Three points from John Rock and another from his twin brother Martin were the highlight of the opening period as Moate led 0-5 to 0-2, while the winners ended the half with a goal from Maitias Mac Donncha which gave them a 1-4 to 0-6 lead going in at the break.
