Nugent's moment of magic sees St Paul's secure spot in decider

St Paul's got the better of St Colman's in a thrilling encounter in Gracefield, Offaly on Saturday. St Paul's led 0-4 to 0-1 at half-time with Ciaran O'Hanlon getting 0-3. Anthony Spillane's free replied for St Colman's.

On the restart St Colman's turned a three-point deficit into a three-point lead with goals from Padraig de Roiste and an Anthony Spillane penalty, but a succession of scores from St Paul's levelled matters. Conor Nugent then found the net for St Paul's, lobbing the 'keeper from 20 yards to seal it.
