Noone leads way for Lilies
Kildare 2-19 Louth 0-8
Kildare juniors sealed their place in the Leinster decider on Sunday week when they comprehensively got the better of Louth in Drogheda.
Kildare got goals in either half as they controlled the game, with Barry Noone (who finished with 1-8) getting the first goal before Mark Nolan found the net in the second period.
Kildare quickly raced ahead as they went 1-5 to the good with Noone converting brace of frees before finding the net in the seventh minute after a lovely pass from David Malone.
Louth eventually got on the scoreboard with an Eoghan Osbourne free in the 12th minute but Killdare finished the half the better to lead 1-11 to 0-4 at half-time. The Lilywhites continued in similar vein on resumption and a fine individual goal from Nolan killed the game as a contest.
