Mickey Harte has confirmed that he will stay on as Tyrone manager for another year following today's heartbreaking All Ireland semi final defeat against Kerry.
The Red Hand men ran All Ireland champions Kerry very close at GAA HQ and were level going into the final stages before Eamonn Fitzmaurice's men edged out four-point winners.
Harte has won three All Ireland titles and four Ulster Championships with Tyrone and news that he will be there for another season will be welcomed by the Red Hand faithful.
After today's defeat, Harte confirmed to Sunday Independent and Sky Sports reporter Damian Lawlor that he will remain in charge next year.
