Emmet Healy scored 1-3 from play and Ryan McKenna hit a dramatic injury-time winner as Easkey became just the second Sligo side to win the title in Enniscrone on Saturday.

McKenna's stunning winner against Galway side Clonbur came with the last kick of the game, and was the west Sligo side's first score in almost 30 minutes.

Clonbur had chased down an 11-point deficit in the intervening period, hitting 1-8 to tie the game heading in to stoppage time.

Two superb points from first-half goalscorer Healy had pushed the Dessie Sloyan managed Easkey into a 1-10 to 0-2 lead after three minutes of the second-half, but apart from a McKenna fisted goal ruled out for a square-ball infringement, they rarely troubled the Clonbur defence for the remainder of the half.

Walter Holleran's 44th-minute goal sparked the revival, with Eoin Joyce claiming six second-half points, the last of which pulled the sides level.

However, just as extra-time loomed large, McKenna got possession in the left corner, and somehow spun the ball over from the outside of his right boot to spark wild celebrations and leave the 2011 champions devastated.

McKenna also hit Easkey's first score of the game, though Clonbur led for the only time in the match when Declan Kyne scored the opener from play in the third minute.

It took Easkey a while to start utilising the strong wind at their back, but Healy's goal on 16 minutes was followed up by superb points from play through Andrew Kilcullen (2), Eugene Mullen, Kevin Duffy and Healy again, as they built what proved to be a crucial cushion before Clonbur's fightback.
