Marc Ó Se entrusted with full back role again as Kerry name three debutants
Marc Ó Sé has been restored to full back for Kerry ahead of Sunday's Munster semi final against Clare.
In a key championship pointer Ó Sé, who had played most of his football at half back during the league, has been trusted with the No 3 shirt for the match ahead of Mark Griffin who is included among the replacements.
Killian Young returns to the team for the first time since last year's All-Ireland quarter final. Young broke an ankle preparing for the semi final against Kerry last August and missed the entire league campaign.
It is one of Kerry's most inexperienced championship teams for many years.
Three players - goalkeeper Brian Kelly, Paul Murphy and Stephen O'Brien - make their debuts while the Geaney cousins from Dingle, Paul and Michael, have never started championship games before. They were however used as substitutes during last year's championship.
Legion's Kelly is preferred to Brendan Kealy in goals.
Kieran Donaghy is included among the substitutes having recovered from the dislocated shoulder he sustained in a club match in early May. Donaghy's recovery is ahead of schedule.
Kerry: B Kelly; P Murphy, M O Se, S Enright; P Crowley, K Young, F Fitzgerald; A Maher, D Moran; Darran O'Sullivan, B Sheehan, M Geaney; S O'Brien, Declan O'Sullivan, P Geaney.
