For those unfortunate enough not to make it to O'Connor Park in Tullamore for Carlow's historic win over Kildare, I hope you were tracking events on KCLR.

There were joyous scenes after the final whistle as Turlough O'Brien's men beat the Lilywhites for the first time in Championship since 1953.

Incredibly, the Barrowsiders never kicked a wide in the entire game with Paul Broderick giving an exhibition of shooting with 11 points, nine from placed balls.

Corner-back Conor Lawlor got forward to seal the win with an injury time goal that sent the Carlow faithful into raptures.
