Former Laois Leinster minor football medal winner Zach Tuohy is set to make his 150th Australian Rules appearance having been named in the Geelong team for this weekend's AFL action.

Barring injury, the game against Port Adelaide tomorrow night will make Tuohy just the fourth Irish player to reach that mark of appearances in Australia.

The late Jim Stynes racked up 264 while his Melbourne team-mate, the late Sean Wight, also reached 150.

Either side of his victory with Kerry in the 2009 All-Ireland final, Tadhg Kennelly racked up 197 appearances with Sydney Swans. He is currently the only player to hold both an All-Ireland and AFL winner's medal.

Next on the appearance list is Mayoman Pearce Hanley who needs eight more appearances to join the 150 club.
