THREE members of the Donegal backroom team are understood to have quit their posts.

According to Highland Radio, Jim McGuinness’s assistant Rory Gallagher and video analyst Maxi Curran have stepped down due to work and family commitments.

Meanwhile, Francie Friel will not be part of the 2012 All Ireland champions set-up next season either.

McGuinness, who has a high profile role with Celtic, recently confirmed that he would be staying on as manager – and had indicated that his backroom team would remain in place.
