Dr Crokes attacker Johnny Buckley has dropped himself off the Kerry panel due to work commitments.

Last year's Kerry captain has seen his 2018 campaign blighted by a knee injury and did not feature in the league and has told Kerry boss Eamonn Fitzmaurice that he won't be available due to increased demands at work.

Fitzmaurice has left the door open for Buckley to return when circumstances allow.

The Kingdom begin their All-Ireland quest with a Munster semi-final meeting with Clare on Sunday week, June
