Kerry full-house awaits Kilkenny

And then there was one. By Sunday evening, Kilkenny will be the only county that Kerry haven't played in the football championship and since the black-and-amber aren't likely to be a big-ball power any time soon, that blank line may never be completed on Kerry's CV.

Donegal will become the 30th county that Kerry have played in the championship, with Down the only opposition they have failed to beat. Indeed, Down have beaten Kerry on the five occasions they have met.

The qualifiers have broadened every county's competitive horizon over the last 11 years. In Kerry's case they played Fermanagh, Wicklow and Westmeath for the first time with Donegal to come on Sunday.

Only four counties: Down (1960), Derry (1958), Dublin (1893) and Cork (1889) have beaten Kerry in their first championship meeting. Here's how the various counties fared against Kerry first-time out.
