Kennedy leads Leitrim to final
Leitrim 2-9 Galway 0-13
Goals from Ronan Kennedy and Colin Ryan saw Leitrim reach their first junior final in six years at Tuam Stadium.
Kennedy goaled in the fifth minute and Martin McGowan's side raised their second green flag in the 12th minute when Ryan punched to the unguarded net.
Robert Hughes' second free put four points between the sides, before an excellent brace from wing-back Cathal Sweeney meant Galway trailed by 2-3 to 0-7 at the break.
Galway managed to pull back to within a point late on, but Adrian Croal's late score sealed the win for Leitrim.
