Keenan lifts Louth
PADDY KEENAN produced a five-star performance in Dungarvan to propel Louth to promotion and condemn Waterford to relegation.
And they did it the hard way, as it wasn't until the 58th minute that they took the lead for the first time.
Up to that point, Waterford were the better team and, with Patrick Hurney to the fore, they were four points ahead after the break but faded when Tony Grey was sent off for a second yellow in the 56th minute.
Keenan and Ronan Carroll began to dominate at midfield and Keenan kicked three quick points to bring Louth back into it. Carroll then kicked the equaliser before points from Darren Maguire, Ray Finnegan and Carroll sealed victory.
