He has conquered the Gaelic football world, and is now looking to make his mark in soccer with Celtic but Jim McGuinness might be getting a taste of Hollywood in the near future too.

McGuinness famously managed Donegal to All-Ireland glory in 2012, just two years after the team was eliminated in the first round of the qualifiers. The tactician earned huge plaudits for devising the seemingly unbeatable 'System', which saw his players defend in numbers before counter-attacking at a lightning pace.

McGuinness told his story in last year's book, Until Victory Always, and the Sunday World are reporting that a film is now in the works.

No director or actors have yet been chosen, but the paper says that Oscar nominee Kirsten Sheridan is working on the script.

McGuinness' tale features plenty of sporting success but there is also heartbreak, with the future manager having to overcome the tragic death of two of his brothers.

It will be interesting to see who plays the man himself when the film finally goes into production.
