Dublin Senior football manager Jim Gavin will have nearly a full compliment of players to choose from ahead of their Leinster semi-final with Kildare on June 28.

Ger Brennan continues his progress recovering from a long term Achilles injury while Dennis Bastick is 'resting up' following an injury a club game last week.

“(Ger) should be back very soon, he’s been working very close with the athletics team. He’s very close to it now, please God, we’ll have him back soon," he said

Cian O’Sullivan and Rory O’Carroll who were both carrying hamstring injuries are both fully fit again and are in the shake up for a starting place against Kildare.

“We’ve a tough week ahead of us so I hope to god they get through it and come next week when we announce the team to Croke Park we’ll have a full selection to pick from," he added.

Gavin refused to rule out Paul Mannion playing a part in the Championship this summer as the forward returns from his travels from North America in the next few weeks.

“He’s on his way back, I’ve spoken to Paul and if he’s back and plays  like any player our squad is, we don’t have a closed championship squad its always open."
