Hyland puts seal on Jackies' glory
Dublin won the Leinster SFC for the fourth time in five years by defeating Meath by 3-9 to 1-6 at Dr Cullen Park in Carlow yesterday.
Jenny Rispion registered the first goal of the game for Meath but it was Dublin who led by 2-3 to 1-4 at the half-time break after goals from Amy Ring and Sinead Ahern.
Substitute Natalia Hyland added Dublin's third goal in the second half.
Elsewhere, Cork claimed a ninth successive Munster title by beating Kerry 3-12 to 2-9 at Pairc Ui Rinn.
Juliet Murphy and Emma Farmer struck for early goals and, while Louise Ni Mhuircheartaigh replied with a consolation for Kerry in the second half, Cork were quickly back in their stride and bagged a third goal when Valerie Mulcahy netted from the penalty spot.
