Heavron saves day
Derry came from eight points down to claim a draw on a night which saw both teams exit the competition.
Antrim were in charge in the first half when John Laverty's goal helped them to seemingly unassailable lead.
But after Danny Heavron finding the net in the second half, Derry clawed their way back into proceedings and could have won it when they had a late penalty shout turned down.
Derry started quite sharply, but Antrim soon got a foothold and Laverty's goal left them 1-7 to 0-5 ahead at the interval. Antrim looked to be on their way to a comfortable win but Heavron's 54th-minute maximum drove Derry towards parity.
They could have had a spot-kick when Ryan Bell appeared to be hauled down in the Antrim square, but the referee waved away appeals.
