Hallissey fires Beaufort to final
All-Ireland Club JFC: Beaufort 0-12 Young Irelands Dundalk 0-10
Beaufort edged into this year's junior decider with two points to spare over Dundalk Young Irelands in a thrilling comeback at O'Moore Park.
Fergal Hallissey had the mid-Kerry side in the ascendancy for the second half; the wing-forward accounted for half of the Kerry sides total.
Beaufort needed his football intellect to break down a well-drilled Dundalk side who led by four early in the second half.
The Louth men, spurred on by three first-half points from county man Derek Maguire, took an unexpected 0-7 to 0-4 lead at the break.
On the re-start it was all Beaufort, Hallissey punishing the opposition's indiscipline with Seán McLoughlin receiving a second yellow.
