Glennon returns to fold

Denis Glennon returned to Westmeath training last night just a day after it was revealed that he had been absent since the end of the league over an issue that was not understood to be team or management related.

Glennon has apparently resolved the issue and has committed to the team's preparations again. Meanwhile, Carlow manager Luke Dempsey has included full-forward Daniel St Ledger in his team to face Louth in Sunday's Leinster Championship opener.

St Ledger has come through a fitness test and will play in the same forward line as the experienced Mark Carpenter.

CARLOW (SFC v Louth): J Clarke; S Myers, J Hayden, K Nolan; S Gannon, B English, S Redmond; J Murphy, W Minchin; B Murphy, D Hayden, JJ Smith; E McCormack, D St Ledger, M Carpenter.
