GAA unveil fixture plan for postponed football and hurling games - but there could still be further changes

The CCCC have announced fixture details for the postponed Allianz football and hurling league games as well as the All-Ireland club hurling final replay, although there could still be further changes.

Cuala and Na Piarsaigh will go at it again this Saturday in the club final replay in O’Moore Park in Portlaoise at 17.30 as part of a double header with the Division 2A final between Westmeath and Carlow, which gets underway at 15.30.

The postponed Division 1 hurling quarter-final between Galway and Wexford also takes place on Saturday in Innovate Wexford Park at 3pm. The Division 2B relegation play-off between Armagh and Derry and the Division 3A Final between Louth and Warwickshire are also on Saturday, at 15.00 and 13.00 respectively.

Dublin's hurling quarter-final clash with Tipperary will now be played at Croke Park this Sunday at 13.00 as part of a doubler header with Dublin's Division 1 football encounter with Monaghan at 15.00.

Last weekend's postponements mean that the Division One hurling semi-finals will now take place on Saturday March 31, with the final the following weekend on Sunday April 8.

In football, all round seven matches will go ahead as planned this weekend. No date has yet been set for the postponed Division Two Round 6 matches between Down v Tipperary and Louth v Meath, the postponed Division 4 Round 5 match between Laois v Antrim and the postponed Division 4 Round 6 matches between Waterford v Leitrim and Wicklow v Limerick.

These games will be played on Saturday March 31/Sunday April 1 if they are required to determine the final positions for their respective Leagues.

If the finalists for the National Football Leagues are confirmed after the round seven fixtures this weekend, then the finals will take place on Saturday March 31/Sunday April 1. If not, then the outstanding games will take place that weekend, with the finals taking place on April 7.

However, as Dublin vs Galway is already confirmed as the Division 1 league final, that game will take place on Sunday April 1 in Croke Park.
