Former Dublin player to make first appearance for Meath against DIT

Former Dublin player Stuart Lowndes will line out in the Meath half-forward line tomorrow night when they face DIT in the O'Byrne Cup in Ashbourne tomorrow night.

Lowndes, a brother of Dublin senior football panellist Eric, played for the Dubs in an O'Byrne Cup game  against the Royals in 2015.

He transferred rom St Peregrines in Dublin to St Peter’s, Dunboyne, last year and has now been drafted into the Meath squad by manager Andy McEntee.

Meath will be looking to build on their facile win over Wicklow when they face the students tomorrow night.
