Galway have made just one change from the side that hammered Sligo last time out for Sunday's Connacht SFC final clash with Roscommon (throw-in 4.0).

Manager Kevin Walsh has recalled the experienced Paul Conroy to the starting side with Peter Cooke making way. Conroy missed the Sligo win through injury but he is back in the side as the Tribesmen set about dethroning Roscommon.

Otherwise Walsh sticks with the side that put 4-24 on the Yeats men last time.

Captain Damien Comer, who top-scored last time out with 2-2, continues at full-forward where he is flanked by Ian Burke and Barry McHugh.

Shane Walsh starts at centre-forward with Sean Andy O'Ceallaigh at full-back.

The Roscommon venue was reduced to a capacity of just under 19,000 for the game with the GAA confirming yesterday that the game was a sell-out.

Galway (Connacht SFC final v Roscommon) - R Lavelle; D Kyne, SA O'Ceallaigh, D Wynne; C Sweeney, G Bradshaw, S Kelly; P Conroy, T Flynn; E Brannigan, S Walsh, J Heaney; I Burke, D Comer, B McHugh.
