Fennell pondering legal route in club switch bid
DUBLIN star Eamon Fennell has confirmed that he will explore legal options in a bid to secure a transfer away from O'Tooles after exhausting all avenues of appeal available in the GAA.
Fennell remains committed to a move away from the northside outfit, with neighbours St Vincent's his preferred destination. O'Tooles cleared the way for his inter-county career to continue this season after they agreed to allow the midfielder to continue with Dublin as a registered member of their club.
"I'm still looking for a transfer. It's all up in the air and we've exhausted all avenues within the GAA so we need to talk to the legal side of things and see how we go from there," Fennell revealed.
Fennell requires surgery on a hip injury but has postponed it in a bid to be part of Anthony Tohill's International Rules squad to face Australia at the end of next month.
"Hopefully I'll be involved. I've always watched it and seen a few of those big hits going in. I'd love to be involved in that and that kind of hitting. I think it'd suit me down to the ground," he said.
