Edenderry advance in style

ST Mary's, Edenderry turned in a superb display of attacking football as they proved too strong for visitors St Mary's CBS, Carlow.

Sean Haslim, Cathal Nolan and Harry Morrin were all in great form as Edenderry won with remarkable ease.

Carlow made a great start with a penalty goal from Graham Delaney inside the first minute. But Edenderry struck back and a well-taken fifth-minute goal from Morrin put them ahead.

Edenderry never looked back and took an assured 1-9 to 1-2 lead into the half-time break.

The scores flowed in the second half and a late goal from sub Dean Cummins put the seal on the victory.
