Dublin minors rally from ten points down to edge Meath in extra time thriller
Dublin 1-15 Meath 1-13
The Dublin minor team completed a sensational second half comeback to outlast rivals Meath in extra time in the first round of the Leinster championship this afternoon.
Meath led 1-10 to 0-3 at the break after a dominant first half performance, before Dublin began to slowly chip away at the Royals' lead. Three Ciaran Archer points and a double from James Doran helped trim the gap to four points, before Doran hit the net with five minutes to go to put just two points between the sides.
Another score from Doran reduced the deficit to one before Mark Tracey sent the sides to an additional period with an injury time leveller.
Archer then contributed three more points in extra time as Dublin ran out two point winners.
