NICOLA DONNELLY led the way as Loreto Grammar of Omagh celebrated success in the Tesco All-Ireland Schoolgirls' SFC 'A' final at Kinnegad on Saturday.
They saw off Colaiste Ide agus Iosef from Abbeyfeale on a scoreline of 1-19 to 2-12.
The Omagh side, who have won every title there is to win in ladies Gaelic football, completed their set with a hard-fought win over the Limerick side, for whom the impressive Laura Sheeran starred.
Teri McCusker's goal before half-time gave Loreto the advantage at the break, but Colaiste Ide agus Iosef fought back with Leanne Mangan levelling.
But they couldn't take the next step and full-forward Cara McCrossan kicked three points without reply, with the impressive Donnelly adding the crowning glory.
Meanwhile, St Augustines of Dungarvan proved far too strong for Sligo's Ursuline College at Birr on Saturday as they claimed the All-Ireland SFC 'C' title.
Emer Fennell grabbed a hat-trick of goals and picked up the Player of the Match award as they took the cup back to Waterford.
They were emphatic winners, finishing the game with an impressive haul of 6-13, keeping the Sligo team to just three points. They had raced into an early two-goal lead and were already convincing leaders at the break.
