Donnelly delighted by Tyrone 'focus'

Tyrone delivered another quality performance to reach the minor football final -- leading from start to finish at Clones on Saturday.

Tyrone were ahead by 0-6 to 0-3 at half-time and pulled away from Derry with an impressive second-half display -- and manager Mickey Donnelly revealed the players had drawn on the bitter experience of last year's Ulster semi-final defeat to Cavan to fire them up.

"A year ago we were in the same position, we were three points up at half-time that day too, and the boys revisited that, shall we say. That helped focus minds.''

Tyrone's two lethal left-footed inside forwards James McGahan and Mark Bradley caused most of the damage, hitting 0-9 between them.
