Donegal inflict another defeat on hapless Kingdom
KERRY are staring down the barrel of Division Two football after they were easily cast-aside in a 10-point defeat by All-Ireland champions Donegal.
Michael Murphy gave Donegal a great start after he slotted home an early penalty after Ross Wherity was brought down in the area and points from Colm McFadden and Paddy McBrearty helped the All-Ireland champions to a 1-3 to 0-0 lead after just 10 minutes.
Johnny Buckley finally got Kerry off the mark as snow began to fall at Ballybofey and Tomas O’Se added another and Donegal led 1-5 to 0-3 at half-time.
Leo McCloone and Neil Gallagher hit early second half points for Donegal as they extended their lead to eight points.
Kerry offered little in response to Donegal’s all-action game and remain without a win after a 1-12 to 0-5 defeat.
