Donaghy and O Se attend training to boost Kerry, but Galvin out
KERRY manager Jack O'Connor has no fresh injury concerns after a full round of county championship fixtures last weekend.
There had been fears surrounding the fitness of full-forward Kieran Donaghy, who picked up a knee injury while in action for Austin Stacks, but he trained with the rest of the Kerry squad on Tuesday night.
Marc O Se also took part in the session, despite not featuring for West Kerry in their win over St Brendan's last Saturday.
Team captain Colm 'Gooch' Cooper and Donnacha Walsh did not take part in the session, but neither is thought to be a doubt for Sunday week's Munster final clash with Cork in Killarney.
However, this clash will come too soon for Paul Galvin, who continues to struggle with a hamstring injury, while Tommy Griffin has only recently returned to training with the rest of the panel and is not expected to be involved.
Meanwhile, the draw for the third round of the county championship has pitted the champions of the last two years -- Dr Crokes and South Kerry -- against each other. Last year's beaten finalists Austin Stacks take on Kilcummin, while 2008 champions Mid Kerry take on Galvin's Feale Rangers.
