Derry always make me edgy, but Tyrone have too much

It always sits a little uneasy with me when a Derry team are completely written off coming into a game with Tyrone, writes Peter Canavan.

It's easy to see why they are been given so little chance this weekend after their relegation in the League and unhappy build up.

But I'm not sure Damian Barton was able to get his best 15 on the field for any prolonged period in the League.

But I'm not going to hide from it - I expect Tyrone to win. Their form dipped off towards the end of the League and they'll be stung by the criticism they shipped.

Even if Derry do produce something and cause Tyrone problems, I think Mickey Harte has the bench to get them out of any trouble.

It'll be interesting to see if there's anything new or different in what they do. I think teams are generally ready for how Tyrone will play so they'll have to throw something different at their rivals this year.

We'll just have to wait and see whether they show us that this weekend or later in the summer.
