Cullen comes off the bench to end Breffni hopes
Armagh 1-13 Cavan 0-6 ULSTER MFC QUARTER-FINALS
Conor Cullen was sprung from the bench for the second half and catapulted his side through to the semi-finals in Clones, hitting 1-3 to put Armagh in control.
The pair went in level at the break, 0-5 apiece.
In the second half, Cullen had an immediate effect, with his opening point after six minutes giving Armagh the lead for the first time. He added two more and Caolan McConville chipped in with another to push Armagh four ahead after 42 minutes.
The score that settled it was a Cullen penalty, with Cavan only able to register a single point after the break.
