Cavan outclassed Fermanagh in this one-sided first round Ulster Championship game in Brewster Park. Second-half goals from Conor Smith and Peter Corrigan helped them to a 20-point win.
The winners had nine different scorers as Fermanagh laboured to just a single point in the second half. Caoimhin O'Reilly at corner forward was the best player on show and hit seven points with five coming from open play. Three of these helped Cavan to a seven point lead at the break.
In the second half Cavan's dominance continued as Bryan Magee at full forward started to get in on the scoring act with Tomas Galligan and Cormac Daly dominating possession in the middle of the field. Smith and Corrigan's goals were the icing on the cake.
