Clohessy points way
Liscannor 0-8 Cooraclare 0-6
Liscannor will face Doonbeg in the final on Sunday week after their merited two-point victory at Miltown Malbay yesterday.
The winners edged out a tired Cooraclare side, playing for the fourth weekend in a row as a result of their three-game saga against Eire Og.
Liscannor held the slenderest of advantages at the break (0-5 to 0-4 thanks to the free-kicking abilities of Alan Clohessy, who kicked all but one of their first-half tally and put them ahead with the final action of the half, a fine 45-metre effort.
After the break, Liscasnnor increased their lead with a Kieran Considine point before John Looney pulled one back.
But Clohessy once more and Brian Considine added two more by the 56th to seal their progress.
