Ulster Club IFC final

Tyrone champions Pomeroy won this title for the second time with a resounding win at Pairc Esler.

It was a stroll for a Plunketts side managed by Mickey Harte's son Mark as they dismantled the Donaghmoyne challenge with the help of goals from Chris Colhoun and Frank Burns.

Colhoun's 16th-minute strike helped them to a 1-5 to 0-5 interval lead, and Burns sealed it with a second six minutes from the end.

Pomeroy were well organised defensively, frustrating their opponents.

Scores from John Loughran, Ollie McCreesh, Burns and Justin McCaffrey saw off a Monaghan side that had kept in touch with points from Padraig Donaghy, Ronan McDonald and David Garland.
