Burke on fire as Royals run riot in Wicklow mis-match
Meath 2-20 Wicklow 0-8 - Leinster JFC
Meath romped to a huge 18-point win over Wicklow in this mis-match at Aughrim.
The royals raced into a 2-2 to 0-1 lead in the first seven minutes, with goals from Kevin Ross and Anthony Burke.
Wicklow lacked scoring power, with five of the winners' forwards getting on the scoresheet as they built up a 2-8 to 0-3 lead at the break.
The home side looked as if they were going to stage a recovery at the start of the second half, but Meath reasserted their authority to run out the easiest of winners in the end.
