Hosts Cavan made it hard for themselves before securing their place in the final.
Underdogs Antrim led for the majority of the game, but a levelling point in the 44th minute by Cavan's star man David Brady paved the way for the home win.
Antrim surged into a 0-4 to 0-1 lead and went further ahead when Odhran Eastwood palmed the ball to the net.
Cavan trailed by 1-6 to 0-5 at the interval, but then turned on the afterburners, keeping Antrim scoreless from the 37th to the 57th minute while they racked up 11 points.
Robbie Fitzpatrick netted a fine goal on the hour mark to crown their comeback.
