Derry made it four wins from four starts with victory over Wicklow as they continue to keep pace with Leitrim at the top.
Goals from Slaughtneil clubmen Chrissy McKaigue and Christopher Bradley in the first-half did all the damage.
Wicklow opened the scoring in the eighth minute before frees from Emmett Bradley and Stephen Duffy left the visitors 0-2 to 0-1 up after the first quarter.
But the hosts gradually took a grip on proceedings and when captain Chrissy McKaigue palmed home from close range, it gave Derry the lead for the first time in the 14th minute.
Wicklow returned fire before Derry scored their second goal when Bradley intercepted a kick-out and slipped the ball into an empty net.
The second-half proved a tame affair. Even the late dismissal of star man Ciaran McFaul failed to dampen the Oak Leafers' day.
