Boost for Galway as Kelly and Moore are available
Galway defender Keith Kelly, forced out after being injured in the warm-up against Armagh, will be available for their SFC qualifier clash with Cork on Saturday.
And with another defender, Joss Moore, returning to action after a hamstring injury, Galway manager Alan Mulholland hopes to be selecting from a full squad.
Kelly suffered a back injury which forced him to cry off on Saturday before Galway produced their best display in recent years to shock Armagh by 1-11 to 0-9.
"Thankfully we picked up no knocks against Armagh. The lads all put in a huge effort on a hot day, so it is great to come out of the game with a clean bill of health," said Mulholland.
"We have a very tough assignment next up against Cork in Croke Park, but we are going to give it everything we can in that game and we will see where that takes us."
Meanwhile, Donegal's Mark McHugh confirmed last night that he is out of hospital after suffering suspected concussion during Sunday's Ulster SFC final but he remains a major doubt for Saturday's All-Ireland qualifier against Laois.
