Banner too strong
Clare 5-10 London 0-4
A strong second-half showing saw Clare keep their hopes of promotion alive when they proved far too strong for London at Cusack Park in Ennis yesterday.
After a poor first-half performance during which they had nine wides, Clare were fortunate to lead by 2-3 to 0-3 at the break.
It was all one-way traffic in the second half however, when the visitors had their only score of the second period with the last kick of the game. All four London points came from frees by Eoin O'Neill on a day when David Tubridy was Clare's top scorer with 2-7, followed by Alan Clohessy on 2-1
