Andy McEntee is expected to be ratified for a further three-year term as Meath football manager at a county board meeting tonight.

McEntee steered Meath to Division One of the Allianz league in March while they also reached a Leinster final and the All-Ireland quarter-finals where they lost to Donegal, Mayo and Kerry but performed relatively well in all three games.

McEntee has been in charge since 2017 and his current three-year term ended after this year's championship.

A new three-year term now awaits with a review after two years.
