Alan Kerins Projects look to GAA-selfies to raise funds

Alan Kerins is hopeful that GAA-themed selfies will raise funds for his charity.

The Alan Kerins Projects is hoping that a GAA-themed selfie campaign will raise funds for the continued charity work in Africa.

Former Galway GAA star Alan Kerins travelled Zambia with Armagh legend Steven McDonnell in an effort to promote the efforts of the charity, some of which is highlighted in the video below.

Kerins is encouraging people to take a selfie of themselves wearing a county or club jersey, and then donate to the charity by texting ‘SELFIE’ to 50300.

Similar to the recent phenomenon of the Ice Bucket Challenge, each person then nominates five friends to don club or county colours.
