Diarmuid Connolly announced himself as a serious player in the GAA on January 9, 2007 when he put in a man of the match display on his first outing for Dublin.

To celebrate a decade of Connolly. Here are 10 images from his time with Dublin and St Vincent's.

2007 - Diarmuid Connolly scored 1-5 on his debut for Dublin against DCU in the O'Byrne Cup in 2007


2008 - Connolly celebrates scoring a goal in the Leinster final win over Wexford in 2008


2009 - Connolly struggled to get past Tomas Ó Sé as the Dubs suffer a 17-point drubbing at the hands of Kerry in their All-Ireland quarter-final


2010 - Connolly was selected on both the hurling and football Dubs Stars teams despite the fact St Vincent's were beaten in the latter stages of both championships


2011 - Diarmuid Connolly wins his first All-Ireland title


2012 - Connolly is denied a goal by Mayo's David Clarke in the 2012 All-Ireland semi-final. Mayo win the game 0-19 to 0-16


2013 - Connolly earns his second All-Ireland triumph


2014 - Diarmuid Connolly on the ground holding his face during the All-Ireland semi-final defeat to Donegal


2015 - Diarmuid Connolly celebrates a third All-Ireland victory


2016 - Connolly helped Dublin to back-to-back All-Ireland triumphs after two epic games against Mayo
