Dublin and Mayo went to war on the pitch with many heated individual battles that, at times, threatened to spoil what were two nail-biting All Ireland finals.

But after the final whistle the mood changed as both sets of players showed mutual respect to each other. Here are some of the images that captured the atmosphere in Croke Park.
