Frank Murphy's 45-year term as Cork County Board secretary set to end - report
Frank Murphy's time as Cork County Board secretary appears to be over, according to reports.
The Irish Examiner is reporting that at last night’s first meeting in the new Páirc Uí Chaoimh, county chairman Ger Lane confirmed that clubs would receive a proposal regarding a replacement for Frank Murphy five days prior to the meeting on October 17.
Murphy began as secretary in the Rebel county in 1972 and was given a contract in 2012 to facilitate his involvement in the construction of the new Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
That contract expires at the end of this year.
