Dubs Stars games postponed due to bad weather
The highly anticipated GAA games between the Dubs Stars and the Dublin team have been postponed as a result of bad weather.
The annual Dublin Bus/Herald fixture was set to take place at the home grounds of Kilmacud Crokes at Pairc de Burca tomorrow afternoon.
The match-up between the cream of Dublin’s club talent and the senior Dublin football and hurling teams was highly anticipated
However, as a result of recent heavy downpours, which affected the capital as well as the rest of the country, the decision was taken late Friday to call-off the gamse.

Dublin GAA announced the news on their Twitter feed shortly after 9.30pm this evening and players were informed by text that it wouldn’t be going ahead.
No details regarding a re-scheduling of the fixtures have yet been released.
The hurling fixture was expected to throw-in at 12.30pm tomorrow with the football game originally scheduled for 2pm between the Dublin Stars and Dublin, who have an O’Byrne Cup game against Wexford on Sunday.
Although no starting line-ups had been released approaching the game, the match was expected to be a tightly contested affair with the Dubs Stars backline one of the major talking points.
The O’Byrne Cup fixture between Dublin and Wexford in New Ross is still scheduled to go ahead on Sunday at 2pm.
