Cavan's Paul Brady has secured fifth consecutive Men's Open World Handball title with victory over Cork's Killian Carroll in the final in Calgary, Canada this evening.

Brady proved much too strong for the 22-year-old from Mallow and ran out a 21-8, 21-2 winner.

There was victory for Ulster as Antrim's Aisling Reilly beat her long-time rival, Cork's Catriona Casey, to take the women's crown.
