Minor handball player Noelle Dowling is on fire as she prepares for the GAA Handball All-Ireland 4-Wall Singles Finals.

The Kilkenny player will join other top players at the handball festival at the Kingscourt Handball Club in Co Cavan.

The three-day event kicks off next Friday night with all adult, juvenile and elite finals taking place over the weekend of March 20-22.

In the men's final, Robbie McCarthy from Co Westmeath will take on Martin Mulkerrins from Galway.

Limerick's Martina McMahon will take on Cork's Catriona Casey in the Ladies Final.

At the minor level, Eoghan McGinnithy will take on Billy Drennan from Kilkenny in the boy's final, and Mairead Fox from Tyrone will battle it out with Noelle Dowling in the girl's minor.

Other fixtures will be announced closer to the event.

Meanwhile, Casey, who is a favourite heading for an unprecedented eighth Senior Singles final in a row, said she has realised her goal of competing in every tournament and "play steady handball".

"I've achieved that and with every tournament that has passed, I've realised that I'm not that far off, which is massively motivating for me," she said.
