Venues and times for All-Ireland football qualifiers revealed
THE GAA has revealed details of the venues and times for the All-Ireland fourth-round football qualifiers on Saturday.
In the first of the clashes, Meath take on Laois at O'Connor Park in Tullamore at 3.30pm, followed shortly afterwards by the throw-in between Tipperary and Down in Cusack Park, Mullingar, at 4pm.
Meanwhile, in Dr Hyde Park in Roscommon at 6.30pm, Kildare play Sligo. Finally, the game between Kerry and Clare takes place at the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick at 7pm.
The winners of those matches will take their place in the quarter-finals of the All-Ireland series alongside provincial winners Dublin, Donegal, Cork and Mayo. These matches will take place on the weekend of August 4 to 6.
In yesterday’s Leinster decider, Dublin survived a late comeback by Meath at headquarters to edge out the Royals 2-13 to 1-13. In the other big game of the day, Donegal pulled off a historic double by becoming the first Ulster side to retain their provincial crown. They beat Down by a comfortable margin of 2-18 to 0-13 in Clones.
